My first ever game was west ham v Wimbledon in 1991 and there was bad feeling over the bonds scheme and at full time about 3000 of us steamed on the pitch. Then billy bonds came out and said if we all love the club go home to which the reply was the we are he to protest because we live the club. I woke up the next day shitting myself that my parents would see in one of the pictures in the newspaper luckily I was ok. Best £3.50 I ever spent on match.

Brady one was good, as he was quite well known for being a miserable sod, but when we all charged onto the pitch you could see just what it meant to him.
A lovely moment.

Most memorable ones for me were quater final v Villa in 1980. I was a small 15 year old seconds away from being critically crushed at the front of the old South Bank wall as I was stuck with my back arched over the wall and my legs still stuck in the South Bank by a mass of bodies pushing down to get on the pitch, managed to eventually wriggle my legs free and fall backwards into the back of the goal net and was immediately attacked by some thick truncheon weilding copper. Was amazed and lucky that the wall did not collapse too, very scary. I had just had a near death experience and this prick was trying to attack me. That is how the police were back then.
Also during the Bond Scheme era I think, last game the pitch was full and someone lobbed a beach ball onto the pitch and an old style football match ensued with hoardes chasing the ball up and down the pitch trying to get the ball into the goals, was well funny.
Another memorable one was v Forest when we went down and it was Frankie Mac and Des Walker's last games for each club. FM scored a hatrick and Walker did a lap of honour to applause from all. Then we ran towards the Forest fans who were singing "you'll be back again next year" and both sets of fans exchanged scarves etc... Great days back then that modern football will never match.

Birmingham away pitch invasion in the cup?
I was too young, but I know people who were there reckoned it was as aggressive an atmosphere you could find.

That was dangerous that day the Villa game... IIRC they was all smashed into the corner pen of the SB.... all started coming over the boards as it got pretty dangerous in there... remember saying to a mate at the time that it was a good job we did not have any fences up !!

League Cup quarters in 1989 was my first one, as a fresh-faced seventeen-year-old. Beat Villa 2-1. Took a bit of the pitch home with me. Had BG mud in my coat pocket for months after.

Yeah remember Dicksy running onto a through ball and put it across the box, didn't even see the ball hit the net as I was dragged off my feet and kind of flew over the front wall.
Amazing day and one that is right up there with my favourite games ever. Absolutely packed everywhere and there must have been 1000's locked out.

That was a great day, one of the best ever at UP
Everyone on their radios checking the Portsmouth score, Clive Allen scoring at the death to secure promotion.... and then the pitch invasion.
Sadly I was in the upper west (as then was) and couldn't make it on to the pitch.

Good one was Liam Brady's last game against Wolves.
I went up to Steve Bull who was stood on the centre circle and said "Unlucky Bully" in a youthful teen voice.
He must have thought fuck off the pitch and let us get home.
Great Goal by Brady in his last game that. We actually had 2 pitch invasions that day, one after the goal and one at the final whistle

When I was a kid I'd get on the pitch at the end of every game. Go and give a few players a pat on the back, then into the west side for the quick way out.

During the bond scheme I seem to remember being on the pitch every other week. We did love a pitch invasion in the 90's.
Best one ever was Cambridge at home last game of the season, I went from the back of the south bank to about 10 yards from tunnel in about 30 seconds, mental days.

I can remember the pitch invasion in 1991 after beating Everton in 1991 and after Cambridge a couple of years later. I can't remember when the last end of season one was before they put a stop to it?
